Helping The Migrant Labourers Of India Survive Through COVID-19
COVID-19 has wreaked havoc on the lives of millions of migrant labourers and daily wage earners such as construction workers, daily labourers, auto & rickshaw drivers, food vendors, etc. who still haven’t managed to secure a steady source of income to provide the basic necessities to their families.
For the past many years Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation (KSCF) has been working in a number of their communities and villages to make them child-friendly, so that their children are safe, free, healthy and educated
Distressingly, in this time of crisis, their children and their families are facing serious difficulties as they run out of essentials. We at KSCF are doing our bit by providing continuous support to these families in the form of grocery and sanitation kits. Additionally, educational worksheets are being provided for children to ensure that their interest in education continues.
Every donation of Rs. 800 will help us provide a two-week supply for one family. We urge you to come forward and support as many families as you can.
Any amount, howsoever large or small, is appreciated during these difficult times.
Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation (KSCF), founded by Nobel Peace Laureate Mr. Kailash Satyarthi, envisions a world where all children are free, safe, healthy, in school, and have the opportunity to realize her/his full potential. KSCF’s mission is to end slavery and child labour, and ultimately end violence against children.
